Monday

“RHS Mentoring” – Life skills interactive teaching during the Pathways program at Romeoville High School.  Plus small group or one to one mentoring during lunches.  These meetings consist of goal setting, accountability, and celebrating successes.

 

Students are referred to us by RHS staff for attendance and school engagement support.


“OverFlow” – High School Students – 2:30-4:00 PM

 

– A combination of leadership development; social/emotional Support; SPARKS – discovering talents, skills, passions, and dreams; homework help; recreational activities; and field trips – recreational, service oriented, and college/career exploration.

Tuesday

“Real Life” Support Groups  – Middle School and High School – 6:30-8:30 pm at H2O

 

-Small groups where teens can come to talk about their feelings, struggles, and achievements. Real Life is a safe place where youth can be heard and know they are not alone.  Teens learn to support their peers and to give and receive positive feedback

Wednesday

“OverFlow” – High School Students – 2:30-4:00 PM (Regular Release schedule); 1:00-2:30 PM (Early Release schedule)

 

– A combination of leadership development; social/emotional Support; SPARKS – discovering talents, skills, passions, and dreams; homework help; recreational activities; and field trips – recreational, service oriented, and college/career exploration.

Thursday

“OverFlow” – High School students – 2:30-4:00 PM – A combination of leadership development; social/emotional Support; SPARKS – discovering talents, skills, passions, and dreams; homework help; recreational activities; and field trips – recreational, service oriented, and college/career exploration.


“Going Deeper” – Middle School and High School students – 6:30-8:30 PM

 

Staff address specific teen issues from a faith-based perspective through games, activities, teaching, and group discussions. Topics vary, including subjects such as self esteem, conflict resolution, and drug resistance (based on the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets).  Youth are reminded that they are capable of making positive choices as they are challenged to live a life of character.

Friday

“BHS Mentoring” – Small group or one to one mentoring during Bolingbrook High School lunches.  These meetings consist of goal setting, accountability, and celebrating successes.

 

Students are referred to us by BHS staff for attendance and school engagement support.

“One to One” Mentoring Is Available Upon Request.
