We currently serve high school and middle school age youth. Our target population is students in the Valley View School District. However we welcome teens from throughout the area.
H2O staff reserve the right to refuse any student who does not support the purpose of H2O or respect the rights of others.
To ensure a safe and supportive environment for all of our participants, all youth must register in order to take part in H2O programming. Registration takes only about 15 minutes and is by appointment only. A current school ID is required. To schedule an appointment, please call 630-226-8403. Once you are registered, you are welcome to participate in as many or as few of our programs as you wish.
Rides are available to teens living in Bolingbrook and Romeoville (only) to and from our regular programs and most of our activities. Please call at least an hour and a half before the start of the activity to arrange to be picked up.
There is no charge for transportation or any of our services, with the exception of some trips and activities that have a minimal cost. If finances are ever a barrier to participation, please talk to a staff member. Special arrangements can often be made.
As a nonprofit organization, we are funded entirely by public and private donations and grants.
All one-to-one and group disclosures to H2O staff and volunteers are confidential unless the information is subject to mandated reporting guidelines.
“Our faith is what drives us, but we don’t want it to drive you away.” Our faith is what gives us the energy and passion for our work, but we understand there are many who do not subscribe to our beliefs. We do not want our faith to be a barrier to people of different backgrounds, so we maintain a secular atmosphere during support groups and at school programs. At all times, we respect others’ rights to choose a different faith or no faith at all, and we welcome open and considerate dialogue around these beliefs.
